Sport Club was founded 5 years ago as a brainchild of one of our most talented former teacher, Mr. Aekendra Khadka. Sports have always been seen in a negative way and as a concept of wasting time by most of the people rather than a tool for physical and mental development. To eradicate such stereotypical mentality of people and create better athletes for tomorrow, the Sports Club was founded. The club provides extensive trainings and a stage for young athletes, sports enthusiast and young learners of Kumudini Kunj Secondary School to learn, flourish and develop as a better athlete and better person. The club instills the value of discipline, teamwork and believing in your fellow comrades as all. Since, its establishment, the club has earned a lot of praise from parents and organization for creating or building a much better team which can represent the organization in various level. The club is moving at the same direction as the founder of the club Mr. Aekendra Khadka had envisioned. The club provides training related to Kho Kho, Kabaddi, Badminton, Chess, Table tennis, Football, Netball, Basketball and Volleyball. The club also provide training to students eager to learn indoor games like Chess. The club has already represented Kumudini in various occasions and as hardwork speaks, the team has earned a lot of gold medals in various tournaments. The club has managed to break the stereotypical mindset prevalent in the community and provided young athletes of KKS a glimmer of hope without hampering the study of these young learners.
